Per the owner, as of June 10, 2020, a master planner has been selected. Owner states that the planning document is expected to be finished in March 2021. The Washington County Public Works Department is issuing this request for proposal (RFP) to prepare a master plan for Square Lake Park, a county-owned park and regional special recreation feature. As a special recreation feature within the Metropolitan Regional Parks System, this master plan must address the criteria set forth in the Metropolitan Councils 2040 Regional Park Policy Plan. The plan will provide short- and long-term planning and implementation guidance for the park capital improvements, acquisitions, natural and water resource management, and overall development to create a park that meets the needs of Washington Countys future park users The project work will commence upon selection of the consultant and after award of a contract. It is anticipated that a consultant will be under contract by March 24, 2020.
