Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work will include, but not be limited to, selective demolition to site and building elements, installing deep bore geothermal wells, piping, vault, and associated equipment, interior hydronic piping to connect to new well field to building's heating/cooling system, demolition of existing fluid cooler, electrical work, mechanical work, steel stud framing and drywall, exterior masonry and precast concrete, hollow metal door and frame, and minor framing revisions. The cost range is $1,500,000 to $1,620,000. Prior to 3:00 p.m. on such date, bidders shall submit bids on alternates and subcontractors. Bids received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. Seattle Public Schools requires that all contractors, vendors, suppliers or providers of services comply with all applicable laws and regulations prohibiting discrimination in employment, public accommodation, and educational programs. Seattle Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation by minority and women owned businesses. A surety company bid bond on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of Seattle Public Schools shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days Said deposit will be fully refunded upon the return of complete, unmarked and non-mutilated Bidding Documents to ARC Reprographics within 30 days after the Bid Opening date. At the bidder's option, Bidding Documents will be mailed upon receipt of both a deposit check and a nonrefundable shipping fee by the reprographic firm for each set of bid documents ordered. Individual sheets can be ordered for the cost of printing from the reprographic outlet. Bidders who pick up Bidding Documents from the reprographic outlet will be issued all project addenda
