Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a three-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Board of Education of the City of Chicago invites pre-qualified General Contractors to bid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between the Board and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2017. Two (2) 3-story additions to existing building consisting of six additional classrooms, new passenger elevator, new stage lift and interior renovations. CONTRACT PERIOD: Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: December 01, 2019. Note other critical milestone completion dates in 01 14 11 One (1) original and four (4) copies of the bid solicitation are to be submitted. Original signature sets to be sworn to before a notary public Printed copies/sets of the Bidding Documents will not be provided by the Architect of Record to any Bidding Contractor.
