As of September 12, 2022 this project has been cancelled. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- Statement of qualifications (SOQ) will be received by the County of Los Angeles (County) and the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (Commission) collectively referred to hereinafter as "Public Agencies, for development of four (4) properties in West Altadena. This RFSQ will be used to develop a list of qualified developers that will then be invited to respond to a formal RFP for the development of one (1) or more of the properties. Any Proposer who wishes his/her SOQ to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the Public Agencies at the stated location and at the stated date and time. No oral, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. SOQs received after the scheduled deadline will be returned unopened. Proposers, who, upon request, receive the Request for Statement of Qualifications package and do not wish to submit a SOQ, should reply with a letter of "No SOQ" by the submission due date. This is a HUD Section 3 Contract and all Proposers must meet or commit to achieving Section 3 employment and/or contracting goals to be considered a Section 3 responsive proposer and eligible for a contract award. A Proposer who qualifies as a Section 3 business concern will receive preference points for the scoring of Section 3 in the evaluation of the proposal. The Public Agencies reserve the right to reject any and all SOQs. This RFSQ is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The Public Agencies are not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent's SOQ. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFSQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Public Agencies reserve the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the SOQs.
