The Board of Supervisors of the Township of Lower Nazareth, Northampton County, Pennsylvania is accepting sealed bids for full-depth reclamation of certain Township roads. The project consists of the full-depth roadway reclamation with cement stabilization of Troy Court, Kimberly Court, Stephanie Drive, and Sarah Beth Lane. A pavement area of approximately 10,713 square yards is to be rehabilitated. Project estimated cost is $300,000.00 The bids will be acted upon at a subsequent meeting of the Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors. All bidders will be notified of the time and date of the meeting. All bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Township. All Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of the Township of Lower Nazareth. Said security will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Township within 15 days of notification of bid award. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. Bidders are advised that all work performed on this project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. A two-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract for the first year and 50% of the contract for the second year shall be provided for this project. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding, increase or decrease the quantities, reject any or all bids and award the contract in the Township's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
