The City of College Park ("City) Fire Department is questing proposals for contracting service for the installation of a 20 x 30 building structure on a concrete slab at a determined location near the Emergency Building Complex, 3737 College Street | College Park | GA, 30337. The City's needs are outlined in this Request for Proposal ("RFP"). Project Details: - Grade out, form and pour concrete pad for 20' x 30' building - Concrete to be 4" thick with 2" gravel thick - Form and pour approximately 8' x 12' at entrance of building and 4' x 6' at side entrance. - Cut curb approximately 12' wide and redress - Excess dirt to be hauled away - All cement will have brush finish or to owner's choice - Cut opening for electricity to be installed in building Building Structure: - Size: 20' x 30" - Leg Height: 10' - Frame Gauge: 12G (upgrade) - 3'Braces - One garage door 12 x 10 One (1) man walk-in door - Electricity Availability Electrical Service: - Connect building structure to electrical current o Wall outlets o Interior lighting o Exterior lighting o Signage Proposals received after the above date and time, or in any other location other than the Purchasing Department will not be considered. It is always the vendor responsibility to check the City of College Park website for any/all addenda. The City of College Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on past performance and to waive technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. All Minority, Woman and Small Businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Only responsive bids that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth by the City of College Park will be considered. Bid Bond (10%) - under $100,000.00 not required SCOPE OF WORK All work to be completed in workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Any alterations or deviation from specifications involving extra cost will be executed upon written orders. All agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents or delays beyond control. Company to carry fire, tornado and other necessary insurances until the completion of the project. In addition, selected company will obtain any necessary building permits, supply, deliver and install the shed at the site. Project duration and work schedule: Describe the schedule in which the proposed work will be completed. Include specific milestones and work phase completion dates. We request this projected completed in four (4) weeks, from date of award. Proof of Insurance: The successful contractor shall agree to have in force at all times during the term of this agreement all insurance that consultant is required by law to maintain, including but not limited to workers compensation insurance. The City of College Park has no responsibility to obtain insurance to cover injuries of the successful contractor or subcontractors sustained in connection with providing services under this contract. Detailed cost estimate. The cost statement should include total project cost, cost of supplies, cost of labor, etc. It should be clear what factors make up the total project cost.
