The scope of work for this Project shall include, but not be limited to: Removal of existing wheelhouse building and selected site elements. Replacement of paved pathways leading up to and through the wheelhouse. Construction of a replacement wheelhouse, including restrooms, concession area, storage, and support areas as well as four shade structures. Construction includes all architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil components as indicated on Drawings and Specifications to provide a complete project. A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, to award the contract in whole or in part, and to award to the vendor the City determines is in the City's best interest.
