The EB-5814 Airport Boulevard Sidewalk project consists of approximately 0.64 miles of sidewalk improvements along SR 3015. Improvements include grading, drainage improvements, and sidewalk installation on SR 3015 (Airport Boulevard) from SR 1365 (McCrimmon Parkway) to SR 1641 (Slater Road). A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed overall bid amount must accompany each proposal in order to be considered. The Bid security may be in the form of cash, a certified check or bank draft payable to the Town of Morrisville, a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an acceptable Surety Agency consented to conduct business in North Carolina. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening except as may be allowed under North Carolina General Statutes. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive formalities, to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The BIDDER to whom a contract may be awarded shall fully comply with the requirements of all North Carolina General Statutes governing the practice of general contracting. No BIDDER may withdraw his BID within 90 calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
