Renovation of a mixed-use development in Bowie, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Bowie Senior Center and Gymnasium Cabinet and Counter Replacement Project. The work shall be consistent with the Plans & Specifications and Scope of Services contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). All services performed must strictly conform to the bid documents. This project consists of work to be completed a two adjacent City facilities. These facilities are the Bowie Senior Center (Facility #1), located at 14900 Health Center Drive, Bowie, MD 20716, and the Bowie Gymnasium (Facility #2) located at 4100 Northview Drive, Bowie, MD 20716. Both facilities opened in 2001 and provide various recreational services to both resident and nonresident populations. The Bowie Senior Center's heaviest usage is from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, whereas the Bowie Gymnasium's heaviest usage is from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and 10 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
