Renovation of an educational facility in Nescopeck, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 50,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of April 10, 2019 the project is not yet awarded. It is expected to be awarded on April 23, 2019. The Project is the limited renovation of the Nescopeck Elementary School. The existing building is approximately 50,000 sq.ft., and is used for elementary education. Portions of the building were constructed in the 1930, 1980 and 1994. Asbestos abatement for ACM floor materials (tile and adhesive) is required in the 1930s and 1980 portions of the building. All areas of the building are to be painted and provided with new ceilings and new flooring where existing flooring is to be removed. New LED lighting will be provided throughout most of the building. New HVAC systems will be provided for the Library, Nurses Office and School Office. Demolition of an existing house on the northwest corner of the site is part of the Project.
