The objective of the project is to provide contingency-based as-needed main sewer replacement on short notice at the locations to be determined within the City and County of San Francisco. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 14.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 14.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The LBE participation requirement is 14% due to the variability of actual work scopes for each contract service order and the average of the closeout LBE participation percentage of the last four main sewer replacement contracts.
