The site, identified as Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 423-33-092, contains 50,922 gross square feet or 1.17 gross acres. At its January 25, 2018 meeting, the JPA Board approved the demolition of the 1344 Dell Ave building and construction of a two story, 12,000 square foot design option to expand SSC into an Administrative Headquarters compromised of two buildings: the current building at 1370 Dell Ave and a new building located at 1344 Dell Ave to meet the long term needs of the Library. The estimated construction cost of the new Administrative Headquarter campus is $6,800,000.
