Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the District 1 Pavement Project which includes but is not limited to permanent pavement patching,Type 3 modified rapid setting slurry seal (including removal of existing pavement markings prior to slurry) and striping on multiple roads in Carson City. The Type 3 Modified Rapid Setting Slurry Seal will be located on College Parkway between Northgate Lane and Airport Road, Roop Street between College Parkway and Hot Spring Road, Hot Springs Road between Roop Street and Northgate Lane and Arrowhead Drive between Emerson Drive and Goni Road. There will also be striping modifications on College Parkway between Northgate Lane and Lompa Lane, and Roop Street between College Parkway and Hot Springs Road (see striping modification plans for striping details for College Parkway and Roop Street striping modifications). Striping on Arrowhead Drive between Imus Road and Goni Road will also be added as part of this project and shall be laid out in the field (no plans for Arrowhead drive striping modifications are provided in these bid documents). Carson City has determined that the responsive bidder must possess a minimum of a Class A with appropriate sub-classifications or subcontractors. All Contractors license shall be in good standing and issued by the Nevada State Contractor's Board at the time of the bid. Questions regarding this bid must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. Bid award Will be made by the Carson City regional transportation commission and is tentatively scheduled for march 13, 2019 and their decision is final.
