Separate sealed bid proposals will be received at the Offices of the Transit Authority of the City of Omaha for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of Contractor's equipment, and all else necessary to properly construct and install improvements at the North Omaha Transit Center and Westroads Transit Center to accommodate automatic vehicle location (AVL) and security infrastructure as specified in the construction documents. The project has a base bid that includes reconstruction of the passenger enclosure at Westroads Transit Center as a utility room, adding benches and windbreaks and installation of security cameras at both Westroads Transit Center and North Omaha Transit Center. Funds for project are being provided through a Federal Transportation Administration grant. Federal Provisions applicable to this project are included in the bid package. The bid proposal must be made on the forms provided by Metro. Bidders must supply all required information prior to the time of bid opening.
