MERRILL ROAD COMPLETE STREETS DESIGN SERVICES to provide all applicable design services necessary to improve the multi-modal mobility of the roadway, calming traffic, and to provide a safer more comfortable complete streets corridor. This project is approximately 1.6 miles along Merrill Road, from just east of SR-109/University Boulevard North to Townsend Boulevard in Duval County, Florida as further detailed in the Scope of Work. In accordance with the statute, the Contractor shall pay wages to laborers andmechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor All licenses required for Proposers whose businesses and professions are regulated by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation must be active and current at the time of the proposal submission. Such liquidated damages shall be computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic, including watchmen and guards, employed in violation of this clause in the sum of $10 for each calendar day on which such individual was required or permitted to work in excess of the standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by this clause. The Authority reserves all rights it is entitled to under the law, including the right to reject any or all Proposals and to cancel or postpone the Solicitation, in whole or in part, for any reason, without liability.
