The project is generally described as the stabilization of a retaining wall and removal of toll booths at a campus parking garage. Sealed bids are invited for the Construction of Retaining Wall Stabilization & Toll Booth Removal at the CP (Garage) Building of Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus. The project is generally described as the stabilization of a retaining wall and associated work and the removal of 4 (four) prefabricated toll booths from the campus parking garage. Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Bid Bond (Form CO-10.2) is required for bids exceeding $100,000. Standard Performance Bond (CO-10) and Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (CO-10.1) will be required for contracts exceeding $100,000. eVA Vendor Registration: The bidder or ofteror shall be a registered vendor in eVA. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves right to reject any or all bids. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: The Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications. Contractor registration in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia, is required. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. Under Executive Order 20, July 22, 2014, Cabinet Secretaries and all executive branch agencies are directed to continue and advance the following on a race and gender neutral basis: Exceed a target goal of 42% of discretionary spending with small businesses certified by DSBSD.
