For the following work: CONTRACT 2-19 Sewer and Water Main and Street Construction on Stanley Court, Stanley Street, Thomas Court 4,800 Lin. Ft. 8-inch PVC C909 Water Main 1,400 Lin. Ft. Storm Sewer (Various Sizes) 7,300 Lin. Ft. Concrete Curb and Gutter 8,000 Cu. Yd. Unclassified Excavation 9,500 Tons Crushed Aggregate 3,200 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt (Base Bid) 11,000 Sq. Yd. 7-inch Concrete Pavement (Alternate Bid) A portion of this project is part of the Local Road Improvement Program. Project consists of street reconstruction on Thomas Court in the City of Neenah. The above public work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and shall be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications and contract now on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. No bid shall be received or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to five (5) percent of the bid or bid bond in equal amount payable to the City as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder shall execute and file the proper contract and bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Unless previously qualified, Contractors bidding on these contracts shall be prequalified before receiving plans and specifications. Proof of Responsibility forms may be obtained from the Director of Public Works, and shall be filed with him for consideration by the Board of Public Works not later than 4:00 p.m., February 15, 2019.
