The Project consists of: Installation of Portland cement concrete canal channel bottom and canal side slope paving, installation/placement of flexible sack revetment (80# sacks), installation of subsurface drainage pipe, installation of limestone (55#), modification of existing concrete pedestrian bridge abutment, installation of PCC sidewalk, backfill, flowable fill, limestone, root zone material, slab sodding and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the Office of the Mayor, City of Hammond; 310 East Charles Street; Hammond, LA 70401. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above upon payment of a deposit of $100.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within ten (10) days after receipt of Bids (January 14, 2019) will receive a full refund ($100.00). Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $50.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Spangler Engineering, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
