Alpine School District is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to upgrade the ATC systems at the Eaglecrest and Foothill Elementary Schools as per attached specifications. Upgrading the automatic temperature control (ATC) system or building automation control system existing in the school by replacing the existing. Provision and installation of the upgraded automatic temperature control system as indicated on drawings and within the specifications. Please note that there are separate drawings and specifications for each of the projects. The District may award each project separately or together, based on the best overall value for the District. Submittals should be concise and address the specific items listed in the Request for Proposal. Any missing immaterial information not included in the submittal packet must be submitted within 24 hours after given notice from the procurement unit. Any additional questions regarding this solicitation are to be submitted via Utah Public Procurement Place (UPPP). Questions and/or addenda will be answered or submitted on UPPP for the viewing of all parties.Questions regarding the procurement process must also be submitted through UPPP. During the solicitation process vendors shall not contact the customer (District and/or School Administration and/or District Staff). Such contact may result in the rejection of your submission. Pursuant to State of Utah Code 63G-6-504 bid security requirements, bid security in the amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the bid shall be required for all competitive sealed bidding for construction contracts. Bid security shall be a bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, the equivalent in cash, or any other form satisfactory to the state. Per Alpine School District Policy, a bond is the only form of bid bond that will be accepted no cash or cashier's checks will be accepted.
