Substantial Completion Aug 2019 LOCATION OF THE WORK: Project Site: Northwood Middle School (2121 North Seminary Avenue), Westwood Elementary School (14124 West South Street Road), Greenwood Elementary School (4618 Greenwood Road), and Dean Street Elementary School (600 Dean Street), Verda Dierzen Early Learning Center (2045 North Seminary Avenue) in Woodstock, Illinois. Construction is to begin on or after June 3, 2019, substantial completion by July 26, 2019 with final completion by August 9, 2019. Substantial Completion is defined as all improvements except restoration. Final completion is defined as restoration and punchlist items. A. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Building Enclosure a. Aluminum storefront entrance systems and glazing. Glazed pass through system. 2. Interior Finishes a. Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions, concrete block. b. Floor finishes of carpet tile, VCT. c. Wall finishes of paint. d. Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board soffits. e. Plastic laminate casework, HM doors and frames, wood doors, hardware, glazing, tackboards, solid surface countertops. 3. Mechanical Systems a. Heating including piping, piping insulation, for new cabinet heater. b. Ventilation to include duct renovations. 4. Electrical Systems a. Power to unit heater, conduit and wiring for high voltage and low voltage. b. Interior lighting and lighting relocation. c. Low voltage work to include: raceway only for card access systems. d. Fire alarm. 5. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems.
