The Kitsap County Purchasing Office is soliciting bids for an electrician to replace stadium lights at the Covered South seating side of Thunderbird Stadium on the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Location address is 1275 NW Fairgrounds Road, Bremerton WA 98311. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond deposit of 5% of the total bid to be received in the form of a surety bond, certified check, or cashier's check. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a "performance bond" meeting necessary requirements within the time of contract signing , the bid bond deposit shall be forfeited. Prospective bidders are hereby notified that they are solely responsible for ens uring timely delivery of their bid to the Kitsap County Purchasing Office on or before the bid opening date and time. This project has been estimated at 40 hours of labor for one person and must be completed prior to April 1 st 2019 as it is being paid for with grant funding that expires. Remove and dispose of all (24) old 1000 watt fixtures on the front and the back of the South Grandstand. 2. Remove and dispose of all old conduit on the roof of the grandstand. 3. Remove and dispose of old grandstand seating lights and conduit. 4. Move existing 300 watt LED fixtures that were recently installed to be faced over the stock pens 5. Purchase and install four 300 watt LED fixtures that match existing ones listed above over the stock pens. 6. Purchase and install six 100 watt LED fixtures in the seating area, replacing removed lighting in #3 above. 7. Purchase and install (on top of the arena stadium seating roof) twenty-four 500 watt LED fixtures and aim them at the arena (build 4-5 unistrut racks with lights attached and install on the roof) 8. Install new conduit and lighting circuits for south grandstand arena lighting, along with distribution boxes as needed 9. Provide a lift to get lights into place on roof (likely will need a 45’ articulated lift) 10. Update panel serving these lights as needed and ensure it is protected from the weather 11. Ensure the lighting works for rodeo and destruction derby events, leaving no dark spots on the arena floor, and appropriate lighting in the stands. 12. Pull and pay for electrical permit for the project and arrange for all appropriate inspections 13. Dispose of debris and clean and make safe all work areas.
