Renovation of a mixed-use development in Troy, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 4,964-square-foot educational facility.

No bid will be accepted after the official time and date. Faxed and/or e-mailed bids will not be accepted Work of this contract shall include, but is not limited to renovating areas in Fitzgibbons and Brahan Halls on the Troy campus. The primary focus of the work will occur on the second floor of the Fitzgibbons Health Technologies Center within the Nursing Department. The area of work is approximately 4,964 square feet. A limited scope of work is required in the first and second floors of Brahan Hall to remove lockers from hallways and replace with benches for students similar to existing benches in Amstuz Hall. Interested Contractors are invited to submit bids for: Contract No. 1 - General Construction Contract No. 2 - Mechanical Contract No. 3 - Plumbing Contract No. 4 - Electrical and Communications Cabling Questions during the Bid Phase should be directed to the Architect at Envision Architects, attention Damon Hern, at email address: damonh@envisionarchitects.com. Bids shall be submitted in triplicate and enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the Project title, the Bidder's name, Bid No. and the name of the contract for which the bid is being submitted A Bid Bond of certified check in the amount of 5% of the combined base bid amount is required with the Bid. Completed Non-Collusion Bidding Certification is required with the Bid. A 100% (one hundred percent) Performance Bond and a 100% (one hundred percent) Payment Bond will be required as a condition for the award of contract. The Owner of this project is a not-for-profit corporation; Bidders should not include sales tax in their bids. Copies of the Owner's tax-exempt certificate will be available for purchasing of materials. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of opening thereof, except as specifically provided by the Contract Documents. Bid Documents Project Manual and Drawings will be available as follows: Digital Bidding Documents: Complete digital sets of Bidding Documents may be obtained online as a download for a forty-nine ($49.00) non-refundable deposit from REVPlans, 330 Route 17A, Suite #2, Goshen, New York 10924 , Phone 845.978.4736. All bidders who purchase digital bidding documents will be registered. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with REVPlans and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. The deposit will be refunded ONLY to those bidders who submit a bona fide proposal on accordance with the terms in the "information for Bidders" section and who return a complete set of Bidding Documents in COMPLETE, UNMARKED and NOT TORN condition to REVPlans within thirty (30) days after the award of contract(s) covered by such Bidding Documents, or the rejection of such bid(s). Non- bidders, including material-men and subcontractors, as well as plan holders who do not submit bid proposals, WILL NOT be eligible for a refund. Addenda and requests for clarifications will be distributed electronically via email to registered bidders. Any bid submitted on forms other than the official forms provided by Hudson Valley Community College may be disqualified. Faxed and/or e-mailed bids cannot be accepted. All bids submitted must be typed or written in ink and signed by the bidder/contractor's designated representative.
