Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Redwood City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The work summary indicated in this section is intended to only convey a general description of the work required by the Contract Documents and is not intended to be a complete listing of all work required. Omission from the summary in this section shall not alter or reduce a requirement otherwise stipulated in the Contract Documents. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all materials, labor and services required for upgrade of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure, complete, all as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications. Basic components of the work include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Architectural improvements include partial re-roofing of the existing Girls Gymnasium. 2. Mechanical and plumbing improvements include replacement of roof top units at the Girls Gymnasium and Multi-Use Building (MUR); replacement of wall mounted heaters in Boy's Gymnasium; replacement of boilers in Lenkurt Lab boiler room; and connection of gas piping at Tea Garden. 3. Electrical improvements include replacement of electrical panels at the Academic Building, Boiler Room, Girls Gymnasium, and Boys Gymnasium; and replacement of motor control center in Boys Gymnasium. 4. Structural improvements include framing and supports for mechanical and electrical equipment
