**As of April 15, the project was awarded to Machnik Bros. $983,903.60.** All Proposals must be on the form furnished by the Town of Montville and must be requested for the above named project. The Town may hold the bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening to review the bids and investigate the bidders' qualifications prior to awarding the contract. This contract is subject to utilization goals and requirements for participation of certified disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE). The Town of Montville hereby notifies all bidders that this contract has been assigned a 4% goal for DBE, as certified by ConnDOT. Only DBE firms certified by ConnDOT are eligible to perform work or provide services that will count towards the goal.Full instructions and forms are included in the Bidding Documents. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bonds are required for 100% of the contract price with a surety company satisfactory to the Owner. Attention of Bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of State and Federal prevailing wage rates, provision of 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment bond, and compliance with certain local and State requirements.
