Renovation of a mixed-use development in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Section B: Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution and sufficiency of surety. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 (NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27) Mandatory Affirmative Action Requirements, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1977, regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. A non-collusion affidavit, certificate of pre-qualification, affidavit as to total amount of uncompleted contracts and a NJ Business Registration Certificate prior to award of contract and the bidder must have obtained the NJ Business Registration Certificate prior to receipt of bids per P.L.2009, c.315. Refer to Section B - Instructions to Bidders for additional information. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall be binding for a period of (60) sixty days subsequent to the date of the bid opening. Any questions or requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing to Jeff Comegys at jcomegys@dcoenergy.com no later than 12:00 PM on February 22nd, 2019. An addendum, if needed, will be issued no later than February 26th, 2019. Bids will be rendered in accordance with Chapter 107 N.J.S. 18A; 18-4. All bids shall be submitted on the forms provided, in the matter designated therein and required by the specifications. All bid submissions must be either hand delivered or sent via UPS, Fed Ex, etc.
