Sitework and accessibility improvements at Fitchburg State University, Mara Village residential complex in Fitchburg, MA. This project is being bid in accordance with the requirements set fort in the M.G.L. c. 30, 39M.For details regarding the pre bid conference, please refer to the instructions to bidders. Work consists offurnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide erosion control measures, demolition ofselect existing site features, excavation, drainage improvements, site layout and installation of new bituminous concrete and granite curb, cast in place concrete walks, cast in place concrete ramps, cast in place concrete stairs, cast in place concrete walls, refinishing of existing concrete stairs and walls, metal handrails and guards, bollards, ornamental picket fence, post light and conduit installation, synthetic turf, and landscaping work including new trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, perennials, groundcover, sod lawn, irrigation and mulch. Three add alternates are also included for volleyball court improvements (add alternate #1), stair refinishing and railings (add alternate #2), and courtyard improvements (add alternate #3).
