Renovation of a fire / police facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
This project is included in the City of Memphis capital improvement plan fiscal year 2023-2027. Further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2025 and after. A detailed scope has not been released. This project is a full service precinct that will replace the existing facility at 791 E. Raines. The existing patrol area for Raines Station will not be affected. This is a replacement for the building that was constructed in 1980 and is cost prohibitive to be renovatedto today's standards and divisional needs. The building will provide a permanent facility for the Raines Station patrol area. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
