The project also includes the installation of a new concrete parking lot, concrete sidewalks, a several paddocks, traffic turn lane, and entrances. The parking lot may feature lighting. The project also includes a pavilion area and several other park amenities such as benches, drinking fountains, and signs. This project will also include landscaping such as canopy trees, ornamental trees, Bermuda grass sod, and/or any Bermuda grass hydromulch, and a new irrigation system for the park. The project also consists of post construction site clean-up as shown in the Construction Documents or as outlined in the specifications for Mansfield Dog Park. Plans and Contract Documents may be downloaded or viewed free of charge by registering at this web site. It is the downloader's responsibility to determine that a complete set of documents, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders are received. Printed copies of the Plans and Contract Documents may be purchased at the website. This web site will be updated with addenda, plan holders lists, bid tabulations, additional reports or other information relevant to bidding the Project. A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on May 2nd, 2019 at 2:00pm in the City of Mansfield Multi-Purpose Room. A Cashier's Check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Mansfield, Texas, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, as well as a completed Conflict of Interest Questionnaire as required by state law, must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds and insurance as detailed in the Contract documents. Bid Proposal must be submitted on the forms bound within the bidding documents. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of forty five days (45) days from the date bids are opened. The right to accept any bid, or to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities is hereby reserved by the Owner.
