On September 23, 2019, City Council voted to approve contracts for professional services for the design and construction administration of Intelligent Transportation Systems projects for initial terms of three years with the following: - DRMP, INC., -Exult Engineering, PC, -HNTB North Carolina, PC, -Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., -Midsouth Consulting Engineers, Inc. *Total expenditures over the initial, three-year team are estimated to be $2,750,000 The City of Charlotte (City) plans to contract with one or more firms to provide Engineering Services for Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) Intelligent Transportation System Projects. The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services to the City. The Engineer shall provide Engineering Services ("Services") on various projects as the need arises and as directed by the City Project Manager. The City will specify services to be performed by the Engineer via written task orders. The Engineer will acknowledge all such written task orders within 24 hours of receipt and complete all services within the timeframe stated in each individual task order. The name and address of the prospective firm, the RFQ # and RFQ Title, shall be placed on the outside of the package. All items required for a responsive Proposal shall be included. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to ensure that the proposal package is received no later than the established due date and time at the proper location. Proposals received after the due date and time will not be considered. Proposals submitted by facsimile or other electronic means will not be accepted. The Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
