Site work and paving for a civil project in Lansing, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. This work will include Ramp Improvements on KTA/I-70 at Lecompton Interchange, MM 197.175, Pavement Patching, Ultra Thin Bonded Asphalt Surface (UBAS) MM 197.9 to MM 210.7, Microsurfacing Lawrence Service Area MM 209.00 and Drainage Structure Improvements at MM 212.1 and 214.2. Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation. The award of each contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, edition of 2015, and will be based upon the summation of the products of the unit prices and the approximate quantities. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority
