Bidder must be able to provide all management, labor, subcontractors, equipment, and miscellaneous materials to perform all pre-installation tasks, which shall include but not be limited to the demolition of existing roof surfaces and recoating roofs, and installation of District furnished roofing products at District designated properties. The contract time is anticipated to be 66 (sixty-six) consecutive calendar days. This Project is being let in accordance with the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("UPCCAA") (specifically, the formal Bidding procedures in Section 22032(c)). As a condition of bidding for this Project, and in accordance with California Public Contract Code section 20111.5, prospective Bidders are required to submit to the District a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided by the District. Bids will not be accepted if a Bidder has not been prequalified. The successful Bidder must possess a valid and active State of California Class "C-39" License at the time of Bid and throughout the duration of this Contract. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the Work called for in the Bid documents. All Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered and approved by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations in order to bid on this project. Bidders must be certified by manufacturer (Garland) as qualified to install manufacturer's roofing products which will be listed in Bid specifications.
