Paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Atlanta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of September 14, 2023, a design team has been identified and a groundbreaking has taken place on July 24, 2023. It is expected that the first $4 million of funding for Brookhaven Park would go toward Peachtree Road access and beautification as well as improvements and programming for the dog park. Playground will also feature two new single occupancy restrooms and a separate pavilion based on community input. Peachtree Road marquee fence and sidewalk waiting for land acquisition and permitting. The designer held two informal community input sessions at park to get kids’ input and opinions on the new playground. The Peachtree Road sidewalk and fence to start in 2019 with the remaining park improvements to follow in 2020.
