Add Alternate No. 1 involves the rehabilitation of approximately 190 L.F. of 24" sanitary sewer by cured in place pipe method. The project also includes rehabilitation of existing manholes, service reconnections and associated work. Upon consideration of the bids, Sheldon Road Municipal Utility District retains the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid deemed advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in an amount of 100% of the total contract price as stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder will be required to submit a bid security in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Bidders should carefully examine the plans, specifications, and other documents, visit the site of the work, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in or omissions from the plans, specifications, or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meaning, he should at once notify the Engineer and obtain clarification priorto submitting any bid. Upon consideration of the proposals, Sheldon Road M.U.D. plans to award a contract. However, Sheldon Road M.U.D. reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to it. Each Bidder agrees to waive any claims it has or may have against the Owner, Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration,evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
