Please note: the resulting contract is for a Public Works project subject to prevailing wage rates, in accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. Project Location- o McCarthy Creek Bridge (#01470) at mile point 13.19 on US-30 o Dairy Creek Bridge (#00744B) at mile point 14.31 on OR-8 The purpose of this project is to resurface the decks on Bridge #00744B, OR-8 over Dairy Creek; and Bridge #01470, US-30 over McCarthy Creek. The resurfacing is needed to correct ongoing and recent pavement failures on the bridge decks. To reduce maintenance demands related to the pavement failure ODOT has already removed asphalt concrete pavement (ACP) and Spray on Membrane from the McCarthy Creek Bridge. Additional scope of work includes joint repairs on the Dairy Creek Bridge, Removal of existing membrane from the Dairy Creek Bridge, install membrane on both bridges as per suitable weather, moisture, and temperature conditions, Prepare for and pave ACP on bridge deck and road approaches on both bridges, Prepare, apply, and maintain temporary striping on both bridges. SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: June 28, 2019 FINAL COMPLETION: June 28, 2019 Liquidated Damages- $600 per calendar day
