Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in El Paso, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work for this project includes rehabilitation activities for twelve (12) existing El Paso Water Wells throughout the City of El Paso. Furnish and install (12) well pumps, motors, and associated equipment into the wells that are rehabilitated. This contract includes an allowance, which will be used to handle unforeseen conditions. The allowance work for the project may include expedited urgent well repair, purchase and installation of pumps, motors and appurtenances for existing booster stations, wastewater lift stations and stormwater stations purchasing equipment (booster pumps/motors, lift station pumps, stormwater pumps/motors, VFD's, MCC units, etc.) Qualified Local, Minority and Women Enterprises are encouraged to participate in this project and will be contacted by the bidder by certified mail wherever possible. Certified receipts shall be provided as part of the bid unless the goal has been reached as evidenced by draft subcontracts included with the bid or other evidence the goal has been attained. The Utility's minimum goals for this project are: 15% for Small Locally-Owned Businesses, 5% for Minority-Owned Businesses, and 2% for Women-Owned Businesses. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent of the bid amount.
