This project has been awarded to : Contract A - "H&H Civil Construction" Contract B - "AstroTurf" The work, for which bids are asked, generally includes the following: CONTRACT "A" - G ENERAL SITE CONSTRUCTION 1. Site improvements for development of two baseball fields with work including, but not limited to, erosion control, demolition, earthwork, underground utilities, irrigation, dense graded base, synthetic turf base materials, finish grading, concrete flatwork, asphalt pavement, fencing, scoreboards and landscape restoration. 2. Alternate Bids as represented in the Contract Documents. 3. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A1" - Limestone Screening Walking Path 1. Provide limestone screenings walking path as indicated on drawings and specifications. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A2" - Sodded Turf Outfields 1. Provide sodded turf outfields and maintenance in lieu of the base bid seeded turf outfields and maintenance as indicated on drawings and specifications. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A3" - Bull Pens and Batting Cages Synthetic Turf Base Materials 1. Provide concrete curbing, fabric, base materials and drainage for synthetic turf bull pens and batting cages in lieu of the base bid infield material as indicated on drawings and specifications. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. CONTRACT "A, Alternate A4" - HID - Metal Halide - Athletic Field Lighting System 1. Provide HID - metal halide athletic field lighting system in lieu of the base bid LED athletic field lighting system as indicated on drawings and specifications. 2. All necessary work to complete the proposed contract as represented in the construction documents shall be included in the CONTRACTOR'S bid. WORK BY OTHERS Work by others or OWNER that shall be concurrent to work of this contract includes the following: 1. Providing and installing synthetic turf system for baseball infields (bull pens and batting cages, if alternate is accepted) will be procured under separate bidding process. Work of these contracts shall be coordinated with synthetic turf installation contractor. 2. Coordinate work of these Contracts with all work by OWNER and others.
