The Owner does not undertake to accept any of the Submissions received. The "Questionnaire" of non-participation provided for in Appendix U must be completed by companies that have obtained the Tender Documents and do not submit a tender, in order to know the reasons for their non-participation. Each Bidder who participates in the information session and visits the site must do so at his own expense. He must self-assess the requirements of the work and must obtain all relevant information and verify any conditions affecting his Contract. The Bidder must provide with its Submission a guarantee equal to ten percent (10%) of the value of the Bid and must identify as the recipient the name of the Bidder. Owner. This guarantee is given by a Financial Institution as defined in section 1 of the "General Conditions". The Submission Guarantee is given to the Contractor before the signing of the Contract in exchange for a guarantee of performance of the Contract and a guarantee of the Contractor's obligations for wages, materials and services. These guarantees are in the form of a bond and the amount of each of them corresponds to 50% of the price indicated in the Contract and they are given by a Financial Institution as defined in section 1 of the "General Conditions". These warranties must identify the Beneficiary as the Beneficiary. The Contractor then uses the forms provided in Schedules C, D and E herein.
