The Town of Forest Heights requires the services of a responsive and responsible contractor to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials and supervision necessary for North Huron Drive Sidewalks-Phase I in Prince George's County. This bid is restricted (20%) to a Certified MDOT Minority Business and (0%) to a Certified County Based Business that has current certification in the Supplier Diversity Program withthe Prince George's County Supplier Development and Diversity Division formerly known was Minority Business Enterprise/Minority Business Development Division in accordance with the "General Conditions and Instructions to Bidders", PGCC Form No. 1666A (11) 8. In order to be considered responsive, the Minority Business Enterprise must have a current Certification with the Maryland Department of Transportation's Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE). Please note that the contractor MUST be certified and listed in the MDOT directory. This project will require submission of a bid bond at time of bid opening. The project includes reconstruction of approximately 2327 linear feet of pervious concrete sidewalk, reconstruction/upgrades to driveway aprons, construction of ADA compliant concrete ramps, tree and fence removal and installation, and pavement markings. Stormwater and Erosion & Sediment Control permits/approval are pending and will be acquired by the Town prior to construction. The contractor will be responsible for all utility adjustments, utility coordination, and relocation coordination, if necessary and maintenance of traffic.
