Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to restore the following buildings to their pre-disaster design, function, and capacity: City Hall, Police Department, Fire Department, Maintenance Shop, and Eagle Pointe Recreation Center Building A. The building repairs for City Hall includes, but is not limited to, replacing damaged ceiling tiles, carpet, and drywall ceilings and walls. The building repairs for the Senior Hall includes, but is not limited to, replacing ceiling tiles, wall drywall, and carpet. The building repairs for the Police Department includes, but is not limited to, replacing ceiling tiles, wood benches, and carpet. The building repairs for the Fire Department includes, but is not limited to, replacing ceiling tiles and sealing and painting concrete walls. The building repairs for the Maintenance Shop includes, but is not limited to, replacing ceiling tiles. The building repairs for Eagle Pointe Recreation Center Building A includes but is not limited to replacing damaged ceiling tiles, carpet, drywall ceilings and walls, hardwood floors, rubber window seals, high impact ceiling panels, and painting a concrete block wall. The exhibits attached to the Contract Documents further define the scope of work for each building. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than 5% of total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute the required bonds within ten days after notice of award. Bids without such guarantee will not be considered. Award of this contract will be made on the basis of the lowest responsive responsible bid and references. The right is reserved as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond on the forms provided in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety or other Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Owner reserves the right to award the contract at any time within ninety (90) days after bid opening.
