Site work for a road / highway in Tappen, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The project will upgrade approximately 4.3 km of the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH) from two lanes to four and replace the Tappen Overhead Bridge. Other improvements include a new frontage road system, installation of median barrier, new eastbound commercial carrier pullout, a modified protected T-intersection at Tappen Valley Road, replacement of the White Creek Culvert, and the replacement of the Tappen Creek Culvert with a new bridge/wildlife underpass. Project Location - Tappen, BC on Trans Canada Highway 1. Tappen is located approximately 10 km north of Salmon Arm.
