Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
***t is anticipated that the work will begin and end during the summer months. In general the work consists of: removing of existing asphaltic pavement, shaping and compacting the base, removing or adding additional base aggregate as necessary, and placing hot mix asphaltic pavement. Additional work includes pavement marking, erosion control, and site restoration.The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
