Only the Marion County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to award bids, proposals, and projects determined to be in the best interest of the County. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder, based upon the combined eligible and non-eligible bid items. The WORK includes improvement of roadways as shown in the construction plans as referenced above by Project and Bid Number and applicable parts of these contract documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid as required by Instructions to Bidders. It is required to submit the Insurance Certificate to the Procurement Services Division with the bid.
