Construction of a replacement sanitary sewer system including installation of new sewer main and manholes, installation and reconstruction of service laterals, pavement restoration and all appurtenances required for a functioning sanitary sewer system. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percentum (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check or bid bond subject to the conditions of this contract. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid as set forth in the Bid Form. These Bonds shall be in compliance with the Specifications. The Village of New Paltz hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
