The project scope of work includes: 1. Remove and replace filter influent and backwash waste gates and actuators as noted in the Drawings. Requests for Clarification from Bidders are due November 20, 2024 by 4:00 PM CST November 27, 2024 Responses to Requests for Clarification will be posted via Addendum in CivCast 2. Remove and replace filter effluent, filter-to-waste, filter backwash, and air scour valves and actuators as noted in the Drawings. 3. Remove and replace filter effluent flow meters as noted in the Drawings. 4. Modify filter-to-waste piping in three locations to allow for an air gap in the yard. Demolishing existing weirs in junction box vaults where noted. 5. Install combined filter effluent sample piping from a combined filter effluent pipe to the existing Analyzer Shed. Install a sample pump and turbidity meter in the Analyzer Shed. The work is to be substantially completed within 450 days. The security must be payable to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid. Bid Bond Requirements: A Bid Bond must guarantee, without qualification or condition, that the Owner will be paid a sum equal to 5 percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid if, within 10 calendar days of Notice of Award of the Contract, the Bidder/Principal: fails to provide the required Performance and Payment Bonds Citys Reservation of Rights The City reserves the right to: 1. cancel this RFB at any time; 2. reject any or all bids submitted in response to this RFB;
