For Replace Trough Area Lavelle Pump Station East Pond Cover Project estimated cost: $73,000.00. The tabulation of Bids will be considered by the City Commission of the City of Alamogordo at its next regular meeting, or at a later meeting if required. The work will consist of removing and replacing torn/deteriorated areas of an effluent pond cover with new 60-mil HDPE cover material. Construction Industries Division (CID) Classification Determination is GF-3 or GF-98. In accordance with the provisions of the New Mexico Construction Industries Licensing Act, all project work must be performed by properly licensed contractors and subcontractors with active licenses in good standing as of the date and time specified for Bid Opening. Prospective bidders are advised of a 10% Bid Evaluation Criterion for area businesses that will apply to this Project. The contractor, and local sub contractor, are advised to obtain specific information as to the qualifications and conditions of the Bid Evaluation Criterion before submitting a Bid. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total Bid amount. The successful bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Bid amount to assure performance of the Contract, and payment for all labor and materials of the Contract. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, and the City of Alamogordo reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and waive all technicalities and formalities. No BIDDER may withdraw their Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the Bid Opening thereof. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.
