**The project start date is approximately July 25, 2019.** The purpose of this rehabilitation/construction project is to upgrade and bring the aging substation facility and its equipment to a fully renewed state. Equipment replacement includes the following: electric motor-alternator sets, motor-alternator control equipment, associated transformers and switchgear, lighting, HVAC, heaters, etc. to make this a fully functional and updated signal substation.
