Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Derry, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists of replacing the existing corrugated metal structural plate pipe arch with a 12-foot span precast concrete rigid frame structure with precast concrete wingwalls as well as partial reconstruction of North Shore Road for approximately 155'. The engineer's estimate for the work is between $280,000 and $300,000. The project schedule is to start construction on July 8, 2019 and substantially complete the project on September 27, 2019. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must be listed on the NHDOT "Prequalified Contractor's List" with a classification of bridge or bridge rehabilitation or box culvert or road construction and provide written documentation from NHDOT no later than 3 business days prior to the date and time of the Bid Opening. Bids from bidders who are not on the specified classifications of the NHDOT "Prequalified Contractor's List" will not be accepted. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
