The Information for Bidders, Price Schedule, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications and Form of Bid Bond may be examined at the said office or at the office of the Engineer, LiRo Engineers, Inc., 3 Aerial Way, Syosset, New York, and copies thereof may be obtained at the office of the Village Administrator in the Village Hall. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of his bid, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for Bidders. Any bidder may withdraw his bid, either personally or by written request (if such request is received by the Board of Trustees at any time prior to one minute before the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids). If a contract is not awarded within 30 days after opening of the bids, all bidders may withdraw their proposals by written notice. The Village, through its Board of Trustees, reserves the right to waive any informalities in, to reject any or all bids and to accept that bid which it deems most favorable to the Village. The Contractor is required to submit monthly payroll status in an approved format to the Village for approval under New York State Law. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
