Location / Site Directions: The project is located at 3634 Amelia Earhart Drive and at 5000 School Road Prequalification Required: Y This project involves rehabilitation of MMSD Pumping Stations 13 and 14. Major components of the project include: Site improvements including pavement, landscaping, and other work. Supply and installation of 3 - 125 hp and 3 - 150 hp pumping units, motors, and appurtenances. Supply and installation of valves, piping, and fittings. Supply and installation of venturi flow meters. Supply and installation of HVAC systems. Supply and installation of odor control systems. Supply and installation of electrical feed gear. Supply and installation of motor control centers. Supply and installation of electrical wiring. Supply and installation of station control centers. Supply and installation of variable frequency drives. Supply and installation of indoor generators. Structural and building improvements. All prime bidders and electrical and mechanical subcontractors must be qualified for this specific work. Before proposals will be accepted for the work contemplated herein, the OWNER will conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the performance record and ability of the prime bidders/subcontractors to perform the size and type of work specified in the Contract Documents. All prospective prime bidders and mechanical and electrical subcontractors must submit qualifications for review and approval by the District. Prequalification applications will be distributed with the Contract Documents or can be obtained from the District. Bidders who have already submitted prequalification documentation to the District within the current calendar year need not resubmit, but must notify the District in writing by the prequalification due date (using the form provided) of their intent to prequalify for this specific work.
