This project involves the removal of trees, excavation of accumulated sediment, re-grading of slopes, and implementation of necessary Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control measures in and around the easterly 2 Detention Basins (Basin 1 and Basin 2) of Settler's Pointe Park in White Lake Township . The existing outlet structures of Basin 1 and Basin 2 are to be removed and new detention basin outlet structures installed in the Basins. The existing outlet pipe of Basin 2 shall be trimmed by 4'. Basin side slopes are being re-graded to the proposed elevations and restored with topsoil, seed and mulch blanket. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking with the issuing office for any changes to the project or addenda prior to bid submittal. The right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive defects in the proposals is reserved by the Owner. Bid Documents may be obtained by UPS Ground delivery service for an additional fee of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00). The purchaser must supply the telephone and fax number, street address, and the name of the individual or firm to whom Addenda, if any, can be directed. Bid documents in digital format on compact disc (CD) may be obtained at the office of Johnson & Anderson. One set of CDs will be furnished at no cost for each bidder. Additional sets of CDs are available at a cost of $5.00 per set with no refunds for return. A certified check or bank draft payable without condition to the Charter Township of White Lake, Treasurer, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company in an amount of five (5%) percent of the Proposal amount shall be submitted with each bid, as a guarantee of good faith and the same to be subject to the conditions stipulated in the Instructions to Bidders.
